James A. Bankes, CPA/PFS

Jim Bankes CPAJames Bankes is the owner of Bankes Planning Associates, a CPA and financial advisory firm serving clients throughout Florida and across 15 other states. Jim has experience working with businesses providing trusted advice, financial solutions and guidance to help them manage cash flow, plan for the future, and grow their businesses.

Jim has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant for over 33 years. He has worked with hundreds of businesses across a variety of industries including medical, professional services, retail, manufacturing, distribution and real estate. He has the ability to understand the unique challenges facing small business owners and the experience to provide the right solutions.

Graduated from Rowan University (NJ) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He worked for a mid-sized CPA firm in Moorestown, NJ and a Family Office Trust Company in Jenkintown, PA before launching his practice in Tampa Bay in May 2002.

Patti Bankes, Director of Public Relations

Patti Bankes, an established entrepreneur and Tampa native, works closely with James Bankes, CPA/PFS to provide an all-inclusive financial experience. She serves as the Director of Public Relations and focuses on client satisfaction. She is the crucial link between the client and the expansive resources at our disposal.

Patti brings over eighteen years working in sales in marketing and efficiently manages relationships.
